This month Gail and I travelled to Alstonville and Brisbane. While at Alstonville I made a trip to the Border Ranges NP to look for Eastern Bristlebirds but instead I found Wompoo Fruit-Doves high in a tree. Hope the video taken is of a suitable standard. While in Brisbane I returned to an old reliable location and was surprised to discover Spectacled Monarchs. Have never seen them there before. Gee they are hard to video in dense bush. They never sit still for a few seconds. That’s 398. Two to go!!
